JENNIFER JAKO
Jako studied design at L’Ecole des Arts Plastiques in Monaco and the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Oregon. With multi-cultural parents and raised all over the world, she has a unique, global perspective of design. She speaks many languages and is a social anthropologist at heart.
She has over 15 years of experience as a Project Manager/ Creative Director/ Producer. Her documentary film, Blood Lines, which The New York Times called “a pointed, moving documentary” was broadcast on MTV. She was featured on a May 2006 cover of Newsweek.
Jako finds that all disciplines are interconnected and draws on her varied background to resolve design opportunities.
in memoriam 1968 - 2023 | Chris bleiler
Bleiler worked for over 30 years as a designer/fabricator. He brought a profound knowledge of materials and fabrication to design work, Bleiler’s resourceful creativity and design instinct encompassed any medium. While he demonstrated a wide style vocabulary, his furnishings and interiors were often inspired by the Pacific Northwest with a nod to modernism.
Bleiler studied at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. He worked as a designer for Art Muscle magazine, while renovating a number of historic Victorian homes. In the early 90s, he began designing and fabricating props and furniture which led to opening fix studio in 1998.
Bleiler was known for his attention to detail and ability to solve challenging design dilemmas.
SHERRY JAKO
Sherry brings over 20 years of experience in interior design, marketing, and project management, from conceptual design through completion with an emphasis on sustainable design practices. Her development of marketing collateral and business plans resulted in numerous high profile design projects and publications.
Experienced in hospitality, commercial, institutional, and high-end residential projects, she has an extensive knowledge of interior products and materials and their applications in the built environment. Born in Italy, she draws on her multi-cultural background, travels, and broad work experience to form innovative ideas.
NCIDQ certified. Jako earned her B. A. in Interior Design from Marylhurst University. She is a LEED Green Associate and holds a certificate of Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.
